The short version
Silly Scan does not collect anything about you or your child. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no trackers, no cookies, and no servers that receive your pictures. The camera picture is turned silly on your own device, and that is where it stays.
On this website
The camera picture lives in your browser's memory and disappears when you close the tab. Nothing is uploaded. Save hands the file to your browser, which puts it wherever your downloads go. This site loads no third-party code, fonts, scripts, or images.
In the app
Camera frames are processed on the device and never leave it. Save adds a photo and a short silent video to your photo library with add-only permission, so the app can never see what is already there. The app has no network code, no ads, and no purchases, and its only link out, to Settings, sits behind a grown-up check.
